The media landscape is changing at an exponential rate. What worked last year may not work this year. We believe in being flexible to address the changing marketplace. Yet, we still have a few guiding principles:

1. We believe less can be more.

The old theories of “passive reach” have given way to consumer connections and “active engagement.”

2. We believe in “recency.”

Recency is the idea of connecting with consumers as close to the purchase situation as possible. BlackSkirt calls this “decision-point” media.

3. We believe in collaboration.

Many media buyers limit-if not completely avoid-direct contact with media “vendors.” This commodity approach to negotiations is inconceivable to BlackSkirt. We maintain collaborative relationships with our media partners to ensure greater value for our clients.
